    About us

Hello! Our ecofarm-eco/health tourism project has 8 partners. We are a couple who left the city and moved in our farm since 2 years. Our friends are backing up the project from distance and also sometimes in presence. We are located in the heart of the Ida Mountains in Turkey. Our project is in a protected and peaceful green area, at the edge of a national park. Our ultimate goal is to build a long term residence for both our community and friends/visitors, we also aim to diversify into agriculture, food processing, education...Permaculture is one of our main inspiration, through which we will preserve and support biodiversity. We also plan to create a sustainable system that will be able to promote regional development (promoting local production through an environmentally friendly agriculture). We rely on renewable energy & we focus on ecological architecture..

    My place

We are located in Noth side of the Ida Mountains which is an area of an ecological corridor in Turkey. The closest village 'Karaköy' is 6 km to the farm and the nearest town 'Bayramiç' is 40km. We are surrounded mostly by pines, apple, and cherry trees. Also with many aromatic herbs. You might meet some wild rabbits, boars, snakes, or hear a pack of jackals :) We have neighbors who are villagers move up close to the area with their sheeps only when the weather is warm.

we are building our infrastructure, the primal natural buildings. We already have a cobwood house, a tree house, 2 outside shower building, a common space, a kitchen, and a dish/laundry area and satelite wifi. For 2022 we will be continuing the toilet building, start 1 cobwood house, a stone workshop and kitchen building, a wood oven structure and stone-cob oven.

We are looking for minimum 2-3 weeks volunteering. We can offer a camping area or a place in the our cob house where our team members also live. Please contact about availibility for a bed in the house because depending on season/program we may not be able to provide a spot in there. We can provide tents, blankets, pillows, hot water bags :) since the area consists a national park, there are routes to walk or cycle and many natural jacuzzis, different scaled waterfalls..

We are not vegeterian or vegan but we like eat those food and we cook vegeterian a lot. We eat both what we grow and other food that we buy from local market. We love cooking, eathing healthy and nourishing food. We cook a lot from anatolian kitchen but also do some experimenting :) We also sometimes practice to cook Ayurvedic.
