The "House for All Our Children" endowment represents the aspiration of united people from various spheres of business and interests to establish an ecologically sustainable community that will be gradually developed in accordance with the given possibilities in terms of natural resources and principles. Accordingly, the Endowment has, above all, the goal, as its name suggests, to provide children and future generations with the necessary level of knowledge that can not be fully acquired by classical educational models, and that knowledge is aimed at the child knowing the basics everyday life and are reduced to elementary survival and the opportunity to expand the knowledge acquired by the child with new and creative ideas that will complete the picture of the project.
Seča Reka is a village near the town of Kosjerić in the Zlatibor district. The village is known for the fact that people grow raspberries and in addition to raspberries, farmers keep animals - mostly sheep and cows. Of cultural and artistic significance, the village has a cooperative home, a neglected cultural center and the largest treasure-log cabin church dedicated to St. George, built in the nineteenth century. There are two shops and a post office and two primary schools in the village. The village is rich in streams and small rivers, and in addition to water, there are also forests that form ecosystem units.
The endowment represents the institution that represents the project, whose primary phase will last ten years from the moment of its establishment, in order to prove with its engineering-research methodology and results that the basic goals have been met. Fulfillment of goals is reflected in the following disciplines: 1. Environmental protection and sustainable development Within this discipline, there are a number of scientific and technical-technological units that directly or indirectly have a role in order to achieve maximum efficiency in solving a given problem. Permaculture is a branch of ecological design, ecological engineering, integrated water resources management, which develops sustainable architecture, regenerative and self-sustainable habitats and agricultural systems modeled on natural ecosystems. The term permaculture was first coined by Australians Bill Molison and David Holmgren. The word permaculture originally referred to 'permanent agriculture', but later its meaning was expanded to include the meaning of 'permanent culture', after the social aspect was seen to be inseparable from a truly sustainable system, inspired by Masanobe Fukuoka's philosophy of natural agriculture. According to the creator of permaculture, Bill Molison, permaculture is “a philosophy of working with nature, not against nature; prolonged and careful observation, not prolonged and meaningless work; observation of plants and animals and all their functions, before treating any area as a system of one product. " The three key principles of permaculture are: 1. Earth care: care that all living systems are maintained and multiplied. This is the first principle, because without a healthy country, people cannot survive. 2. Caring for people: making sure that people have access to the resources necessary to maintain them. 3. Return of surplus: reinvest the surplus in the system to ensure that the first and second principles are met. This includes returning waste to the system to be recycled into something useful. The main review of the project is permaculture and it will appear as such in the project in several places, but the point is that permaculture can solve a good part of the problems listed and which we face in the 21st century and the main relief is that this access accessible to all, under equal conditions, is not authorized and does not require subsidies from the state apparatus system, which is an important prerequisite for self-sustainability that the project intends to achieve. Eco-design, whose branch is permaculture, has other branches that will be applied and which are easily accessible to children and adults, and eco-design as such will find its place in the form of various seminars and lectures - when it comes to theoretical part and elaboration conceptual solutions in the form of cultural and artistic workshops and festivals that will be a practical part and a kind of training after which participants will be able to further transfer the acquired skills. Waste management - this unit means the entire logistics of waste management, which is a raw material and resource in terms of matter and energy, which is redirected to innovation and creative ideas. Therefore, the focus is on recycling technologies in the form of technical manipulation of a physical nature, and in the cultural and artistic domain, the concept of circular economy occupies an important place, within which the most important part refers to the Zero-waste concept. it strives to achieve zero waste. Within the domain of waste, the Endowment focuses not only on waste generation at the level of the institution as such but also on cooperation with: local self-government where the focus is on utilities, educational institutions, environmental departments and stakeholders, which include all small and medium enterprises, individuals and associations that want to encourage the solution of this problem exclusively with non-monetary funds. Energy - complete electricity independence by using only those energy sources that do not disturb the natural balance. In addition to being the source of life, water is also a source of energy, and it will be the main focus and the main driving force for the Endowment. In addition, the energy of biomass is indispensable, which is always and everywhere available and is just waiting for its opportunity to be used in the right way. Monitoring of water, air and soil quality - monitoring will be conducted periodically, in cooperation with experts and accredited persons and the monitoring results will be transparent and accessible to all and based on the monitoring results, it will be possible to give forecasts for further environmental activities . Biodiversity conservation - comprehensive conservation and to some extent conservation of diversity in genetic, species, ecosystem and landscape categorization, where, as for other activities, communication between experts is necessary. The main part that the Endowment provides is the cultivation and promotion of autochthonous plant and animal species and the development of action plans that will provide regulated habitats for wild species. Rational management of forest ecosystems is a special unit supported by quality monitoring, which refers to reducing the consequences of uncontrolled logging and deforestation, and thus soil erosion and loss of pedogenetic layer. Application of environmental standards - standardization of measures and procedures of the Endowment in accordance with international standards and the inevitable application of domestic legislation as well as all signed conventions, regulations and protocols ratified by the state of Serbia. Culture and art Within this discipline, the key part is considered to be symbiotic action with the discipline of environmental protection and sustainable development. The idea is that every child finds himself in something and at the same time has the choice and the opportunity to deal with the chosen field and thus improve. The endowment aims to establish a legacy library, publishing house, database of electronic and audio records, and anyone who meets the General Conditions adopted by the institution will have access to the legacy. Activities in the field of music culture are contained in cooperation with young artists, festivals, recordings and publications. Holding literary evenings and tribunes and encouraging literature with the obligatory preservation of the Serbian language and script as intangible heritage is an indispensable element at a time when, in addition to demographic losses, we also have the loss of heritage in future generations. The establishment of craft and master guilds is also one of the goals of the Endowment, which keeps old crafts and skills from being forgotten, and the skills of the new age get the opportunity to help the old. These include tailoring, sewing, knitting, pottery, painting, drawing, textile processing, recycling workshops, design in various fields, etc. Growing foodж Food cultivation is covered by the mentioned permaculture and in this discipline the focus is on the maximum utilization of biotic and abiotic factors, without anthropogenic interference and disturbance of the existing natural balance. Growing food in this way solves all kinds of problems that have arisen as a consequence of the Green Revolution and the problems posed by the so-called. The Green Revolution 2.0, which is currently gaining momentum and thus provides enough food for every child and every member of the Endowment. The promotion of autochthonous plant and animal species was also mentioned, adding that plant seeds must be kept and that every member of the Endowment must treat animals humanely and without cruelty, ie that absolutely all factors that could endanger their survival be avoided. Social policy In principle, the Endowment itself implies the social welfare of all its members, participants and associates, and is reflected in the right "roof over your head", the right to healthy food and clean water, the right to education and the right to meet all basic necessities. It should be emphasized that, given the sustainability of the project, there is no money and monetization, and therefore there is no possibility that any human being can be deperonalized and observed through the prism of a numerical system. Human dignity is inviolable and every being is completely free, and the General Conditions are conceived in this way. The endowment is called the House for all our children precisely because there are no divisions and the Endowment itself is dedicated to children because children are the greatest treasure that a society has and they must be protected from poverty, hunger, vice and everything that is a bad side of life in the city. Cooperation and communication As our proverb says that the agreement builds the house, so this house of ours builds the agreement and keeps it complete. Through the Internet and social networks, blogs and the official website, the Endowment aims to communicate with everyone who wants to get involved in its activities, and the only prerequisite is not prior knowledge but honesty, desire to learn, pure heart and clear mind! As for every idea that has more ideas in it, it is difficult for the Endowment to count absolutely every detail that it will deal with in the next period of 10 years. That is why there is that period so that nothing would be left out and the disciplines that are listed are the general framework and guidelines for solving problems. There is no failure in our case, there are only mistakes and omissions that can teach us and improve our intentions to persevere and prove that the Indian principle of seven generations is possible with the Serbs. The principle of seven generations is a principle that is based on the idea that whatever you do in life, it remains and affects the seventh generation after yours, that is, it affects a period of 150 years. This reduces egoism and the common, misconception of how we can use everything we have as a gift without any responsibility. On the principle of seven generations, we will use what has been given to us, but at the same time we will make up for what we have used and we will do our best to leave more to those who come after us than we found. Involving as many people as possible in the project is the basis for the principle of "spreading further" and thus we intend to achieve that in the next 10 years, the idea will expand, apply and come to life in other environments. Quantity is not needed as much as quality is needed, and above all the quality of young people, some of whom will become independent in this period. If we look at it in a scientific framework, the ratio of input and output fragments should be 1 (one). This is practically impossible because we do not know or master complex knowledge and techniques, but it is feasible for our relationship to be very close to 1, which is a significant success. In addition, the goal of the Endowment is independence in terms of food and water, and thus systemic units, and by achieving this goal, the goal of complete demonetization and independence from financial flows in the future is achieved. Our goal is that in the next ten years, at the level of local self-government, there is no illegal landfill and to stop the tendency of their creation forever. Solving the problem of pollution and establishing natural balance within our community is imperative and the local self-government is required not to endanger the project as such in any way, ie. no sacrifice of ecology for the sake of the company's business must be allowed, and in the initial period, proof must be provided in written and electronic form that the moratorium on the construction of all harmful plants is 100% and should not be deviated from.
The family house is made on two floors and has accommodation for eight people at the same time - there are beds for volunteers, bathroom, kitchen.
We offer our assistants food obtained on our property and food procured in the village, home-made food with the participation of Serbian traditional cuisine. Variety in the form of fruits and vegetables primarily; fish, milk, eggs are meant as long as meat is available but in smaller quantities on a weekly basis.
