Acerca de nosotros
Hello! We are family who have recently made the move to the farm and are currently building our natural home from a combination of techniques: earthbag, wattle and daub, timber frame and bamboo. I have over 10 years of natural building experience, I make cob ovens and build natural homes.
Mi lugar
We are located in Herradura de Rivas, a tiny town nestled at the base of the Talamanca mountain range and home to Central America's tallest mountain, Chirripó. A land of cristaline waters and lush cloud forest makes it a unique paradise. This is a family farm we established in 2020 and are super excited to share this experience with whoever is interested in learning and sharing experiences!
Proyectos
This is a 16 ha property with virgin cloud forest, pastures, at least 4 natural springs, small waterfalls, beautiful raging river, lots of fruit trees and a whole bunch of potential. We are just starting out so we are currently focusing on getting the houses finished and other basic infrastructure in order to be able to offer workshops and other attractions.
Alojamiento
We offer a room, shared kitchen and shared bathroom (composting toilet), hot water and good vibes!
Comida
We prepare mostly organic meals, not exclusively vegetarian but can accommodate your needs. Cooking is a shared task and everyone will participate in one way or another.
