    À propos de moi

    Brent here, in Costa Rica for the past 20+ years, California born and raised, retired custom home builder, doing permaculture and starting some new natural building projects. No schedule, nature, weather and waves díctate daily tasks.


    Mon lieu

    I have two domains, a beach lot 520 sq meters with two houses , edible garden, in process remodeling and adding, and a 2 hectares food forest farm that is a twenty minute walk up the hill. Both were purchased in 2000. The beach lot is in the center of the town of Rio Claro , Pavones, 2 minute walk to beach and river, close walk to restaurants and supermarkets. Banks and medical services are about an hour drive away. Farm was planted in 2000 and is quite mature now, has caretaker living in super rustic shack, no electricity or plumbed water.


    Projets

    Projects include addition to one beach house, remodel other beach house, building structures on farm on the hill, planting, harvesting and maintaining edible landscapes and food forest.


    Logement

    Live in house on beach with WiFi, electricity and water, or camp on farm, build your own shelters and rainwater collection, and personal edible gardens.


    Repas

    Breakfast and dinners, beans rice eggs fruits and veggies from gardens

    A great place between the beach and the jungle! Brent is an excellent host, I had a great time there! He has a lot of great projects including building his farm in the jungle. He also has a lot of knowledge to teach about nature and plants. I highly recommend him!
