The Ecobilda vocabulary
A few words you will see all over the platform.
- Project
- A host's place and what they build or grow there. A project groups one or more builds.
- Build
- A period of work with its own dates, skills and number of volunteers. You apply to a build.
- Course
- A paid build, supervised to teach a technique. The price is shown on its page.
- Host
- The person behind the project, who welcomes volunteers and publishes the builds.
- Volunteer
- The person who joins a build to learn by taking part.
- Application
- Your request to join a build, with a motivation message. The host accepts or declines it.
- Build story
- The story of a finished build, published by the host: costs, mistakes, successes and advice.
